Example Landholder Package
After the field monitoring season has wrapped up and data has been processed, landholders are sent a customized package with site-specific data, information on ABMI protocols and monitoring methods, species profiles, and photos from wildlife cameras that may have been placed on their land.
Each package includes:
1. “So, what did you find?”,
2. Your data, and
3. Photos and birdsong recordings.
Customized packages with site-specific data
The Landowner data package includes relevant and customized information for landowners. Sent in October to December the following year, the landowner package features site-specific data, information on ABMI protocols and monitoring methods, species profiles and camera trap photos found, if relevant.
This interactive online package includes an overview of our monitoring program, a summary of the field season, staff profiles, research project highlights, and more! Check out the version from 2019 for a sense of what you’ll receive.
The online package contains a list of plants and animals found at each site, along with descriptions of soil and water quality.
We may use wildlife cameras and autonomous recording units (ARUs) to monitor mammals and birds at a site. If so, landholders will receive a letter with information on how to access a website where they can view the photographs and listen to the sound clips from their property.
